Eat San Sebastian Commitment

The Eat San Sebastian commitment begins with the booked activity, and our responsibility contract affects only the direct work of our technicians and the organization of the activity.


Prices may be per person or service, as indicated at the time of booking, including VAT services and for the mínimum group indicated. Unless otherwise literally expressed, external services hiring (accommodation, flights, ... ) will be responsability of the customer. This services can be managed by San Sebastian Eat through one of our travel agencies partner. All published prices are guaranteed for trips made in 2014. Receipt of deposit guarantees the price of the event published and quoted at time of booking , unless unforeseen circumstances .

What is included in the price ?
All food and beverages , transportation (if necessary ) and VAT are included in the price of our experiences. No extras to pay unless the drinks do not go in the Michelin Star restaurant tasting menú or autor cuisine. Experiences include a guide/translator. More details of what is included in each course are provided below each product on the website .


Booking Conditions

Email Enquiry is required to reserve an experience or packages. We will confirm your reservation when we receive the request. The deposit required is 30%. You can pay via bank transfer or credit card . When payment is made by credit card, please note that you will have a surcharge of between 2% and 4% , depending on the card used for purchase. For bookings made ​less than 30 days before the tour date start , full payment is required at time of booking. Services and/or activities that their special characteristics involve the need to modify this percentage shall be stated expressly in their particular conditions. Since the confirmation of the reservation, the customer expressly assume all of the terms and conditions. In the case that a person registers to others, assumed in its  names  each and every one of these terms. After confirmation has been made, we reserve the right to change, restaurants , winery tours, artisans visits or any other private or public properties to other similar standards and services in the case that any or all are not available for unforeseen reasons .

The final payment is due 30 days before the start date of the program. If the balance remains unpaid at that time, we will contact you. If the balance remains unpaid, we reserve the right to treat the booking as canceled and retain the deposit. Failure to submit the date and time indicated by Eat San Sebastian imply any obligation on the customer to pay the full amount of the reservation .

We accept cancellations with full refund up to 30 days before the start date of the reservation. Refunds will be paid a 10% fee on all cancellations made ​​within 20 days from the date of the event. Cancellations made between 8 and 20 days before the event will receive a 50% refund . Cancellations notified within 7 days before an event will not be refunded. In case you need to cancel your booking, we will be more than happy to reschedule their activities in the future.

Change of date or activity booking
In case you need to change or amend your booking with us after confirming your payment we will do our best to help, but we can not guarantee that this is possible. You will be responsible for any charges (either by us or the providers of the various activities) arising from the amendment.

We will not be held responsible for any charges arising after the change or cancellation due to an unusual or unforeseeable event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control (’Force Majeure’). Such events include, but are not limited to, war, threat of war, riot, civil disturbance, strike, terrorist activity (actual or threatened), industrial disputes, technical or maintenance problems with transport, machinery or equipment, power failure, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, flood, drought, adverse weather conditions, levels of water in rivers, acts of god, closure of airports, changes of schedules or operational decisions of transport providers.

Cancellation or curtailment of a major event or sporting fixture is an unusual occurrence and we accept no responsibility to refund or compensate where changes to an event are made for reasons beyond our control. Every effort will be made to offer alternative arrangements and in the unlikely event of cancellation any refund obtained will be passed on to you.

We cannot accept responsibility for the charges arising after the delay of airplanes, trains or any other type of transportation you use to arrive at the agreed airport or station where your tour/holiday with us starts. We do not provide for meals, overnight accommodation, extra transfer or any other costs resulting from such delays.

We recommend purchasing travel insurance as it can cover travel changes , cancellation , interruption or delay for medical reasons or other unforeseen circumstances . We are not responsible for any costs incurred by you or any member of your group before, during or after your experiences with us , as a result of inadequate or insufficient insurance travel being purchased.
